Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Sky Blue - Aquamarine Color - Large Oval, Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Large Oval Cluster Motif Earrings. VERY RARE DESIGN & COLOR! - EXCELLENT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! These handsome and impressive earrings dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as a pair of 1.25" by 1" large oval crystals with borders of marquise and round cry...stals layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The earrings are done in a series of dazzling and intense sky blue - aquamarine color large oval, round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The earrings are in excellent condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating.The earrings are marked on the back of the ear clips, Sherman in block letters.

Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
