1977 Ducati 900SD Darmah

This is a very early original paint 77 900 Darmah Ducati. The original motor has had damage to the cases that have been repaired. The original motor is included as well as the original internals and top end as well as an extra later bottom end from another Darmah. In my opinion, the easy route would be to use the later bottom end with the stock top end and you would have the original cases set aside but have a nice original ridable bevel Ducati. The smart route would ...be to build the original bottom end and sell off the extra motor and bits you do not use but keeping the bike as unrestored as possible. Either way this is a very nice original Darmah. I have the correct early Darmah front mudguard for the bike as well as an extra date coded 10/77 rear wheel for the bike. From what I understand the first 300 Darmahs produced by Ducati were painted red. Then they were available in either red or black after the first 300. This would be one of the first 30 Black Darmahs and probably the earliest Black Darmah in existence in decent original paint. No dents on the bike but a few chips in the paint here and there. The front brake is locked up, I have never messed with it. The bike has a California title and is registered Non Op in California. The bike is located in Northern California. The original exhaust is there but the silencers are missing. The headlite glass and rim is missingThe gauge housings have a few slight dings on them and the key is stuck in the ignition.The front brake is locked up.The tail light is damaged or broken and the bottom of the mount is still on the rear mudguardThe extra motor has part of a fin broken off of the case but I have the broken piece.
