Original Description:
Up for auction with NO Reserve is a very rare 1977 Airstream Argosy 20 footer! 454 V-8 with turbo 400 automatic, built on the P30 Chassis. Just had my mechanic go through it, runs and drives well, did about $1500 worth of new brakes, lines, fluids, filters, etc to be able to drive locally. My plan was to strip and polish, redo the interior,   all new/modern finishes and appliances, Alcoa wheels, etc. If you're looking at this, you've probably seen a few of my other 20...'s over the years, most folks have seen pictures online of them, it pains me to sell this one as-is because I know how amazing the finished product will be. I'm just way too wrapped up in real estate projects to do this one right now. This is a great unit because it's so complete, solid, and has the best motor/trans combo. There isn't much to say, she's a project, pictures represent it very well. The body is aluminum, with steel end-caps, so the dent on the rear is on steel and an easy fix (I can send you pictures of my last polished unit if you're curious) we painted the end caps dark gray on that one, I also painted one a metallic silver and it looked great as well, less maintenance and polishing too if you decide to go that route. I will warn you though, if you don't like attention, this is not the rig for you- people go crazy for these and are constantly stopping to ask questions, take pictures etc. Just allow extra time, even if you're only going to the gas station. These 20's have too much cool factor, they're a lot of fun.
I have NOT gone through systems inside, only had my mechanic go through it and get it running/driving/stopping well. I wouldn't use anything currently in it anyhow, so I didn't care if it was functional. Tires are old but hold air, it runs fine in 100* AZ traffic, happy to give you my mechanic's number if you'd like his opinion on anything. Before I get the emails and calls... NO, I would NOT try driving it across the country- or even the state. It would need tires at the very least, and probably more belts, hoses, etc. Driving locally is no problem, even gets up to speed on the highway, I can send a video if you'd like. Other than the dent in the rear end cap, the body is in amazing condition and is certainly a great candidate for polishing. Please look at all of the pictures, they describe it far better than I can, let me know if you need any other specific pictures or info. I don't do any shipping myself, but I can give you a couple of names/numbers of great shippers that I have used, who are reliable and very reasonable if you want to get a price from them. Clean/clear AZ title, mileage says "actual" on the title, but I have no way of knowing. Previous owner stated that he had the transmission rebuilt, runs and shifts smoothly and my mechanic said he can tell it had been worked on, but I have no paperwork on it.
*** I also have a 2019, and 2017 crew cab Dodge listed if you need a truck, a 1964 Mercedes if you happen to be in the market for a classic car (those auctions end 9-29), and a couple of newer Airstream trailers that I listed today as well - just click on the "Seller's other items" icon on the top-right of this listing and they should come right up! ***

Please feel free to contact me any time at 520-404-1975 (Heather Anderson) if you have questions or would like to set up a time to come see the Airstream. I am located in Tucson, AZ not far off of I-10, easy to find and the weather is FINALLY cooling off a bit, so come take a look at this super rare little vintage motorhome.

I am a licensed/bonded AZ auto dealer... NOT by choice, but because here in the great state of AZ if you buy/sell more than 3 vehicles (of any kind) in any 12 month period, you have to get a license. I am in real estate, but also a classic car and Airstream nut, I also have a ranch,  horses, trailers, etc... let's just say I bought and sold a few too many for the state's liking, and due to the fact that they need revenue desperately- they decided to fine me when I sold a few more that what I'm "allowed", long story short- I jumped through all of their hoops and got my license several years ago.
Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end, and the coach must be picked up within 15 days of payment (unless other arrangements have been made). Certified funds, cash in person or bank wire-transfer only. Payments MUST clear before the RV leaves my sight. There are no "title fees" or "doc fees" like the typical dealers have because as far as I can tell, that's just a way to get an extra couple hundred dollars from someone, here in AZ it costs me $15.00 to get a temporary registration so that a buyer can drive home legally and $4.00 for a title, I think I can handle that. Please check my feedback, you'll see that I don't sell very many vehicles- but I do have 100% positive feedback on what I have sold over the years. I do NOT go to auctions and buy cars to sell, anything that I have sold or will sell either belonged to me or someone that I know or is a "consignment" type of sale. I have never liked most car dealers and am not all that thrilled to be "one of them".
*** This is a USED RV and is being sold as-is/where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This motorhome is a PROJECT and being sold AS-IS, where-is. If you can't make it here to see it in person, please call me and I can walk around it with you. Again, please call me with any questions or to come see it: 520-404-1975. I would welcome and recommend that you come see it or have a 3rd party inspection. I will make it available throughout the auction for any and all inspections, just call and we'll set up a time. Please understand that the description is only my opinion, yours may be different, I have done my best to take many pictures and describe the RV to the best of my ability. Just remember, we all tend to look better in pictures than in person- that's just the way it is. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Great State of Arizona as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Arizona between Arizona residents, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Ever After Ranch Motors LLC must be resolved exclusively by a state or federal court located in Pima County, Arizona, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Pima County, Arizona for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.  *** I reserve the right to end this listing at any time for any reason as the coach may be listed for sale locally as well.  *** Payment methods accepted must be in the form of Certified funds, bank wire-transfer, or cash in person. Due to concerns of fraud, if you're paying via cashier's check, it must clear my account before the RV/title leaves my sight.  I require a deposit of $500 via Paypal within 24 hours of winning the bid; I also require CONTACT with the buyer within 24 hours of winning the auction, just send me an email or give me a call so that I know who you are, etc.  If there is no contact and no deposit, I reserve the right to sell the coach to the next bidder.  Email through Ebay or call my cell any time at 520-404-1975.
