Runs great, in use now, selling because the kids are getting older... Classic shape and fiberglass hull.
Rebuilt carburetor this Spring (by The Carb Shop in Forest Lake MN), replaced ignition parts with upgraded modern system with no "points". New spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, ignition wires. Spent a bunch at Rockvam Marina two seasons ago to re-seal all places where water can get into the boat and it sits in the slip dry all summer.
The engine is a Chevy 5.0 V-8. Direct drive propeller through the hull like a cruise ship, no outdrive to repair or maintain.
Re-wired the dashboard for all new gauges and switches. Installed a dual battery system and built-in Inverter to plug in phone chargers or other light electrical items. Previous owner was using shore power but I have not.
New seating across the back from a pontoon boat supplier which fits perfectly. (Metal rod in photo on seats is the white light for night driving. Red/Green/White lights are all LED) Very good Bimini Top. Seating and table inside is clean. All vinyl is very nice. You can stand up straight in the cabin! Bathroom with toilet. Bed area under the bow. Sleeps 4 in the cabin.
Some cosmetic aspects are imperfect...and the built in fridge has been gone for a few decades. Bottom painted 2 years ago but it's peeling in spots. Teak swim platform needs refinishing. Wood panels next to the captain and passenger seats have peeling paint. The fresh water tank is here, seems clean, but hoses are not hooked up, I never used them. Toilet system works well, it is a self-contained camping type.
Very good trailer with 4 new tires included. I might be able to deliver it within 250 miles of Minneapolis for $2.50 per mile, contact me to confirm if you need delivery.
This is a wonderful "cruiser". It is in a slip in on Lake Minnetonka MN right now. Cars can park nearby for about 5 minutes if you want to check it out before buying.
