Up for auction is a truly exceptional piece: Chancellor Gorkon's Production-Made Chain of Office Necklace. This was featured heavily throughout the film, first by Gorkon and then a smaller version used by his daughter, Azetbur. Made out of heavy pot metal with a plated finish, the necklace measures an impressive 35" long and is in exceptional condition.
All items come from the personal coll...ection of Maggie Schpak, the designer and creator of over 1,000 iconic jewelry pieces, adornments, and costume accents for Star Trek feature films and television for over 50 years. Several of her key pieces include Spock's Kolinahr necklace from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Khan and the Botany Bay crew's necklaces, head-wraps, and costume accents from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Ambassador Sarek's costume jewelry and accents from several feature films, Azetbur's Klingon Chain of Office necklace from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, as well as Worf and Dax's wedding jewelry and accents from Deep Space Nine. Not only does her work span the Star Trek Universe from The Motion Picture to the J.J Abrams movies, it also includes many well-known Hollywood productions such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Rocky, Tomorrow Land, and many more.
Each piece will come with a custom signed Certificate of Authenticity from Maggie herself.
Proceeds from each auction will go to Artisan Asylum, a non-profit organization helping fabricators learn the craft and create beautiful pieces of art.
