Offered in this sale is a rare hand painted, hand crafted studio art pottery covered face cup that was made by Bjorn Wiinblad. It measures roughly 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" in diameter across the widest part of the brim of the cover. The base diameter is 1 1/4" in diamet...er. It is signed by the artist on the underside of the base which you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. These early pieces which were created by the artist himself are difficult to come by and particularly in min condition like this one. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines, surface scratches or any flaws of any kind.
