This is a beautiful wall mount Copper and glass onion lantern sconce in fantastic vintage condition. It is a more modern, perhaps 25-year-old reproduction of an antique colonial design that has been around for ages. Handmade by a small company in New Hampshire, this sconce has Historic New England written all over it. The sconce has never been used or installed, so it is essentially an open box/new old goods lantern that has the patina that comes with age, but for all intents and purpo...ses, this is a brand new lantern.Compared to the mass produced light fixtures that are mostly made overseas, this one is virtually guaranteed to outlive whoever buys it. Handmade, with no corners cut on quality, means longevity. And that is exactly what you will get out of this light, and you will know once you see it and touch it. It exudes quality in all respects. Nice weight, sturdy construction, and it’s all in a beautiful package!
