North African 1960’s Brass And Glass 540mm Globular Lantern.
A glorious lantern with a superb patina and every piece of original glass intact.
This circa 1960’s, probable North Africa origin brass globular lantern was possibly from the popular Morocco, Marrakesh region, fashionable with 1960’s interiors and culture. With a splendid patina to the intact brass, this is a superbly elegant piece of great function and form.
There are now doors to open the lantern for internal... access but the top has an aperture to fit a narrow candle bulb and fixing points to hang. Wonderfully decorative with enchanting character.
