Description/Interesting Notes: A rich and incredible example of native gold from this seldom referenced Colombian locale!!! This specimen hosts a gorgeous showing of brilliant metallic native gold crystals, selectively encrusted with microcrystallline quartz and prominently perched on the matrix!!! The crystals are present... both as brilliant, crystalline leaves as well as networks of complexly intergrown crystalline forms!!! The native gold crystals exhibit brilliant metallic luster with razor-sharp detail visible upon close inspection!!! There are some small cubic forms scattered here and there as well!!! A very rich and impressive display indeed!!! A magnificent example of gold from this obscure locale!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
