Up for bid is an unusual Esperite specimen from Franklin NJ. This has a band of Hardystonite running diagonally from the upper right to the lower left that is altering to Esperite. Or at least that is what I think is happening. The upper right area of this band is all Hardystonite. However this Hardystonite fluoresces in one of the darkest shades of Blue I have seen. The lower left area of this band is mostly Yellow fluorescing Esperite. In the zone where the Hardystonite is altering t...o Esperite there is an unnamed mineral that lacks the Yellow fluorescence of the Esperite and the Blue fluorescence of the Hardystonite. See close up. Above and below this band is Green fluorescing Willemite and Nonfluorescent Franklinite. There is also a bit of Red fluorescing Calcite but not enough to call this a 4 color specimen.
