Two Large Very Old 23" electric porch lamps made of copper, beveled and bowed glass panels. These are untested, and appear to have antique bulbs still in them (1 in one, and 3 in another, but they may be blown). I could not figure out what type of metal they were, so I somewhat cleaned the top portion of 1, and it revealed copper. a magnet does not stick, but sticks a little to the back backplates that go against the wall. These may be from the Victorian Era (?). The width is 9" ...on each, and the depth is 11" from the backplate, outward. There are no cracks or breaks in any of the glass panels. Each lamp has 6 beautiful bowed glass panels, and each panel is beveled all the way around. Each lamp takes 3 bulbs each. This is a restoration project for someone. These may need new wiring. I did not see any broken or missing pieces on either of these that were obvious. The top of each lamp screws off easily for changing bulbs when needed, or cleaning inside the lamps. These have a very aged patina, and I wouldn't have known they were copper had I not partially cleaned the top of the one. These are very ornate. Hope the new buyer loves them. They would look great on most any home and add character and elegance to your entrance. Thank you for looking. Have a great day!
