Rare Old French Antique Depose 54 Pewter Marble & Amber Glass Oil Lantern 1164
This fine antique French pewter marble and glass oil lantern has wonderful detail throughout and dates from early 1900s.The base of the lamp is square and as a decorative floral design in pewter with 4 feet.Above the base is a square terracotta color marble plinth leading to a matching central column.The center column is decorated with detailed pewter embellishments. Above the colu...mn is a amber color glass oil chamber leading to a tall clear glass funnel.The words depose 54 are stamped on the underside of the base.The words SPECIAL RECUI and MADE IN FRANCE with a crown and leaf emblem are written on the funnel.
