Stunning Vintage 1963 Timex Marlin Men’s Watch - Rare Cal M22 Movement

This is a fantastic vintage manual wind men’s Timex Marlinwatch. The Timex codes on the dial and the inside back of the watch date the watchto 1963. This particular watch is from the transition period when Timex wentfrom the #22 movement to the #24 movement, and this model was available withboth movements. You can see that noted in the image I included with my photos of thecatalog page for this watch. The image is just for your information; a papercopy of that page is not part of the... auction.The movement was cleaned and oiled; it runs strong and keepstime. The dial and hands look good, as does the case and crystal. The watchalso has a NOS Timex crown/stem specifically made for this model (from mycatalogued Timex parts), and a new 18mm Timex band. This model has my favoritedial font, and I really like the minimalist look!NOT WATERPROOF! I know this is a Marlin, and the dial and backof the watch say it is WATERPROOF (common for an early 1960s watch), but Icannot guarantee any water resistance on a vintage watch this old (if it everreally was). Please do not buy it, ruin it by wearing it swimming or in theshower, then ask for your money back (if it didn’t happen so often by newbies, I wouldn’t have to keep mentioning it).The case is 34mm wide not counting the crown, and 40mm longincluding the lugs.
