Description & Condition: Wonderful Turkey and/or Serving Platter made by Allerton Potteries in England. This sizeable platter is decorated in the lovely "Chinese Blue & White" pattern. Colors are rich and detail is very nice. Embossed detailing on each end of the platter where it would be carried. Allerton maker mark can be seen... on back side. It is in very good condition for it's age. Please review all our photos. There is a round light brown small spot on the front upper half of the front side of the platter. There is also some light colored staining on the front side, not very dark at all. You'll notice staining and crazing on the backside, as well as, a small hairline crack. This does not appear to show on the front side of the platter. You'll also see the typical manufacturer defects for pottery from this time period. No chips, repairs, scratches.
