Elgin 3 Finger Bridge
Elgin Watch Co. 16 size 17 jewel hunting case pendant-set pocket watch movement/dial/hands. Movement features a 3 finger bridge plate design and a damaskeened nickel plate finish. Dial is sunk-seconds enamel with Roman numerals. Serial number is 12978094 which dates this watch to approximately 1906.Started running when wound but balance motion is very sluggish with low amplitude and I think very likely this movement hasn’t seen a s...ervicing in many years. Nice looking movement overall though the smaller winding wheel has some circular rub marks appearing to have been possibly polished somewhat. Dial has some scattered hairlines and also has some mild perimeter rub at its left side.
