Up for auction is this DVD made from an original 8mm color home movie taken at The Beatles Candlestick Park concert by a fan in the stands. NO SOUND. The 8MM film is not part of this auction. A collector bought it. I had 2 DVD's made. This is the 2nd and last that i have. The collector received the film and other DVD. Taken from stands so no close ups. But the real thing. Last concert by The Beatles. Films about 3 minutes long. The Beatles section is about 2 minutes long and is from pr...etty far away but it's definitely The Beatles in their last concert. I am selling my last DVD for easy viewing on your flat screen. The photos i took off of my TV look blurry. In person they aren't that blurry but not professional. It shows them walking out to the stage waving with their instruments to the crowd. Then it shows them playing for a short time with John with his black and white Rickenbacker guitar & Paul with his Hofner and George playing and singing with Ringo on the Drums pounding away. Next you see them walking to the meat wagon and getting into the armored vehicle that then drives off with police running next to it. After the Beatles section you see a group of teens making a home movie Mop top style. One is holding up John Lennon's photo. Shows who they dreamed of being as did many young kids. They actually did pretty good. They were a band called The Tikis in Santa Cruz, Ca. who played The Beatles & Beach Boys songs and would become Harpers Bizarre shortly after this film. They were signed as The Tikis to Autumn records from 1965 to 1966 by Ted Donohue, big daddy of KYA who put on the Beatles Candlestick Park concert. Randy Neuman helped with songs and production at Autumn records for the group. They had a hit song which was THE 59TH STREET BRIDGE SONG (FEELING GROOVY) written by Paul Simon and they changed their name to Harpers Bizarre. The group played large arenas and got to have screaming fans just like their heroes the Beatles. They had a number of Lp's released. Later one member Ted Templeman became a producer and discovered Van Halen and produced some big names. This was in with the John Petersen's estate. He was drummer first for the Beau Brummels and then was drummer in Harpers Bizarre. He was married to Roberta Templeman, Ted's sister. So maybe she took the film. I don't know. They had reserved seats and i had 2 ticket stubs from the Candlestick concert where they were sitting. The Horseshoe reserved section Gate B Section 15, box A. Great little film showing history. Unreleased except to collector. Been in my Beatles collection for a number of years. SEE PHOTOS.
