This is a superb original GSTP British military issue pocketwatch. It has a white dial with subsidiary seconds and luminous hands – andhour “Dots” The case back is stamped with the War Department broad arrow above“G.S.T.P.” and “Q15290”. It comes in a linen bag marked with the War Department broadarrow – or “Crow’s Foot” which is contained within its issue cardboard box.The mechanism is not stamped but I can see a number of jewels– rubies?The face is marked “D...ial made in Germany”.I understand it dates from about 1940. The mechanism winds properly, adjusts and keeps good time. Itis in excellent cosmetic condition for its 80 years with only minor use wear tothe casing - please see the photographs for a detailed condition report.Size 51mm Diameter - about 15 mm deep - Weight 82 Grammes
