Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent and unique example of gem phenakite from Nigeria!!! This specimen consists of an extremely complex single crystal of GEM clear phenakite!!! Let me start by saying that this specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! Although it was difficult to capture in the pics, this crystal is in fantastic condition and displays m...agnificently in person!!! The crystal has brilliant, glassy luster and flawless gem clarity throughout!!! The complex form, combined with the pristine gem clarity and pure colorlessness makes for a particularly bright and fiery gem crystal!!! This showy gem is complete, in magnificent condition and displays gorgeously all around!!! These specimens came from one small find in 2009 that produced just a small number of these highly complex gem crystals that are unlike phenakite specimens from any other worldwide locale!!! Almost immediately these specimens were snatched up by collectors and they have been scarcely seen since!!! This is utterly unique material!!! It is nearly impossible to capture these specimens in pictures compared to how they present in person!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
