Item History & Price

I think mostcollectors are aware that nice irons are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The good news is I am representing the Rodman family to sell Mr. Tom Rodman's entire meteorite collection, comprised almost entirely of nice Odessa iron individuals. For those of you not familiar with Tom Rodman, he is the visionary who drove... the building of the original Odessa Meteor Crater Museum that opened in 1962. He was also a Fellow and past treasurer of the Meteoritical Society as well a
consultant for Ector County, TX regarding the Odessa Meteor Crater and Museum. If you are interested in learning more about Mr. Rodman and the Odessa Crater, you can read an article he wrote in the Feb 2012 issue of "Meteorite" magazine.
I have access to a large inventory of specimens that range from 500g to over 5kg and a very few larger than that. Just let me know what you want if no existing listings strike your interest.
Each specimen will come with a SkyFall Meteorites specimen card and list Mr. Tom Rodman as the original owner so you can properly track the chain of custody to at least Mr. Rodman or even further back depending on the information I have available.

Since I was a boy, Ihave always collected "things" including coins, stamps, comic books, fossils and minerals. As an adult, I grew more interested in art andcontinued to pursue my passion for learning about science across manydisciplines. So, when I watched my first episode of Meteorite Men, andrealized I could combine my love of collecting, art and science, I was hooked! I started collecting meteorites in October of 2011 and have perhaps goneoverboard since then. I am now the owner of SkyFall Meteorites and run thebusiness full-time along with my high-tech consulting business. I am a memberof the IMCA (member #8395) and the Meteoritical Society. I have also been anIMCA board member since October 2014 and presently serving my second term.As you can see I haveexcellent reviews and am committed to providing you with the best meteoritesand the best service.
