Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of spessartine garnet and quartz from Pakistan!!! This specimen hosts a large, complex, deep red crystal of spessartine garnet intimately intergrown with some sharp, gemmy quartz crystals!!! The spessartine garnet crystal exhibits s...harp, lustrous faces and marked translucence with attractive deep red color!!! The quartz crystals are sharp, glassy, and gemmy!!! This specimen is WAAAY better than the pics show and the gemmy quartz crystals are much more detailed and sparkly especially where they are closely intergrown with the spessartine garnet crystal!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged - it is a very fine specimen indeed (even the reverse and bottom show a complex network of healed quartz surfaces!)!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Herb Obodda and retains its original collection label!!! In addition this specimen also retains a custom-fitted and labelled acrylic base for optimal display!!! Don't miss out on this impressive beauty!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
