3 x ANTIQUE ENGLISH GOLD AGATE & TASSIE MOTTO SEAL FOBS / CHARMS & SPLIT RING
A collection of three antique English pinchbeck-type gilt yellow metal & heavily gold filled (possibly solid in parts) fobs, with chased decoration, one modelled as a bird, and set with two Tassie-type glass intaglio seals and one blank bloodstone seal. The seals read 'Deprived Of Thee I Die' in reverse around sunlight on a flower, and 'Ir Respondi Aqui Me Touch' (or similar) in reverse aro...und a harp. Hung on a gilt metal / low carat gold split ring.Very collectible & wearable too!CONDITION: Generally very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. May benefit from a clean.DATE/MARKS: Early 19th Century. Not marked.DIMENSIONS: From 19 mm to 22 mm long, split ring 18 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.WEIGHT: Approx. 11.5 grams in total.Click here to view our other items.
