DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1953 Singer Model 301A Sewing Machine. Comes with foot pedal, accessories box with accessories, button hole attachment, manual, package of needles and bottom plate to use in a sewing cabinet. According to the manual the machine is a gear driven, lock-stitch machine. Serial number is NA431705.
CONDITION: Excellent overall original condition. Purchased from an estate - seller stated that it was his mothers and she was the original owner. She used it reg...ularly and had it serviced once a year up until she could no longer sew. According to him it was last serviced around February 2017. I have not attempted any cleaning other than wiping dust off the the body.
I plugged the machine in and it does run and it is quiet. I know very little about vintage/antique sewing machines so I am selling this as-is with no returns. Because of the age it may need repair/servicing. DIMENSIONS: Appx 11" tall.
