Please review the photos and ask questions. It was owned by a family member who passed away. Considering the other stuff he had, he probably bought it, opened it, maybe used it once, and then stored all these years.
On Jun-29-19 at 08:58:...08 PDT, seller added the following information:NOTE: From what I have learned from a few websites, this scope is probably from 1985. The '5' in the serial number is the year, and the decade was discerned from the decade the series the number—5-9039—is associated (9000s). Also, the case maybe simulated leather.
The auction winner will have to acknowledge this information prior to shipping. The only other option I have is to cancel the auction and relist it with the new information. I have also taken more photos which I cannot post because I cannot delete any photos after bidding has commenced and I already used up the 12 photo allowance. I suspect he purchased it to take photos of stars for a project. Therefore, I am confident the optics are in excellent condition. It is currently located in the CA Bay Area.
