Up for auction is a small medieval "pocket" Bible leaf on very thin vellum, in Latin, French origin, circa 1260.  There are three large red/blue initials with extending red/blue penwork.  Despite some cropping in the margins, this early Bible leaf is in very good condition - it measures approx. 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches.
