Presented is a lovely old antique silver medal for Harvard's chapter of the
Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. The medal is made up of a five pointed star above a
horizontal crescent moon, with the Harvard book crest in the center of the star,
bearing the Greek letters. The moon portion of the pendant is engraved John S.
Webb, class of 1882. This particular medal has a loop/bai...l at the top, but would
need a jumpring added to be worn as a pendant.
This piece is nitric acid tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
The medal is in great condition. The name and letters are clearly inscribed
and easy to read. Lovely old patina.
The medal measures about 1 3/4 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide.
The medal weighs 17.7 grams.
