Title:Antique Souvenir Match HolderDescription:Presented for your consideration is this rare antique figural match holder. The holder is made of cast iron and is in the shape of a fly. The fly is very detailed with bug eyes, textured body to give the illusion of hair, and striped wings. The wings are marked with "Souvenir Ohio State Fair 1897" in slightly raised lettering. The wings easily lift up to reveal a small storage compartment used to store matches. The lid easily lifts up and ...down. Underside of the wings are marked with "Simpson Iron Co. Col. O." Guaranteed to be antique and the paint is original. This neat figural match holder would make a great addition to any Ohio State Fair memorabilia or antique match holder collection!
Some light oxidation is on the head and legs. One leg looks like it has a small repair on it. Some mild paint wear is on the wings. No dents, dings or breaks. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. 
Measures 4 1/2" deep, 3 1/4" wide at the widest point and 2" tall.
