Aguilarite with Native SilverSan Carlos Mine, La Luz, Guanajuato Municipality, Guanajuato, Mexico2.4cm x 1.64cm x 1.4cmEx. Sonora Desert Museum
Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare silver bearing species from the type locale in Mexico!!! This specimen conists of a dense group of complex aguilarite crystals intimately intergrown with native silver wires!!! Upon close study in person one can see more defined f...orms and features throughout the aguilarite including some rounded hoppered crystals!!! Way better than the pics show!!! This specimen retains a collection label from James Zigras with Arizona Sonora Desert Museum collection notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
