On offer is a rare antique taxidermy diorama case from the late 1800s or possibly early 1900s featuring a duckbill platypus, a true wonder of nature. It is in excellent condition and truly spectacular addition to a serious antique taxidermy collection or a centerpiece for a country home or cabin decor. A rare opportunity to own a unique piece of natural history of the the kind that is extremely difficult to find, especially in the United States. No signs of insect or other damage.
